PA SENATE PASSES BILL RAISING AUTO LIMITS!
June 30, 2015
We are pleased to advise that SB 928 passed the PA Senate today. This bill amends the Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law to increase the minimum auto insurance limits to $25,000/$50,000/$15,000. The bill will now be sent to the House of Representatives for a vote. At this time, we would like to thank Senators Joe Scarnati, Jake Corman, Jay Costa, Vincent Hughes, John Rafferty and Sean Wiley for their support of this legislation. A very special thank you goes to our champion on this issue, the bill's prime sponsor - Senator Don White.
This legislation would not have been possible without the support of our members. Any trial lawyer who has had clients touched by coverage tragedies knows the importance of these efforts. We will keep you up-to-date on this important legislation as it progresses through the Legislature.
