Right now, your practice is being protected in one of the few states without so-called tort reform and other legislation that hurts your firm and clients. But the continued protection can only remain if there are constant resources to do so.

You have witnessed how our political landscape has now turned tenuous and unpredictable, and one election cycle could usher in elected officials that align themselves with the ideology of insurance companies and big business. As a warning to what happens when we don’t unite and support pro-civil justice candidates, look to states, across the country, that have recently passed comprehensive tort legislation.

The fact is that if you make your living as a trial lawyer in Pennsylvania, you can’t afford not to be involved in LawPAC. Contributions given to LawPAC will support candidates for office who advocate trial by jury and the award of money damages for injuries to persons and property.

Your steadfast commitment as a PAJ member can only be complimented by signing up to be a LawPAC monthly donor today.

If you would like to contribute to or learn more about LawPAC, please click HERE for a donation form.

Please note if you are a current PAJ Board of Governors member there is a monthly suggested minimum amount.

"Several years ago, our opponents in Harrisburg doubled down on their efforts to restrict our clients’ rights and access to courtrooms across Pennsylvania. In response, PAJ doubled down by expanding our Lobbying Team and fighting every single attempt by our opponents to harm our clients and our practices.

Our opponents are bad intentioned and well-funded. If you want the next ten years of your practice to be as successful as the last ten years, you need to stand side-by-side with PAJ’s leaders and give to LawPAC. We’re all in this together. Every single PAJ member needs to and can contribute to LawPAC. No one can afford to give and do nothing."

 PAJ Past President, 2020 - 2021
