WASHINGTON — Gov. Josh Shapiro harshly scolded former President Donald Trump, telling him to “stop [expletive]-talking America.”

“This is the greatest country on Earth, and it’s time that we all start acting like it,” Mr. Shapiro said Monday on MSNBC, ticking off record job growth, record energy production and an economy outpacing China’s “for the first time in decades.”

The Pennsylvania Senate voted unanimously on Monday to criminalize pornographic images of minors created with artificial intelligence.

“It is deeply troubling that as we sit here today, AI is being exploited to create sexually explicit images and deepfakes involving minors,” said Sen. Christine Tartaglione (D-Philadelphia). “This misuse of technology is not theoretical. It is a reality.”

A statewide coalition of nonpartisan community organizations sued Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt and election officials in Philadelphia and Allegheny County on Tuesday, demanding an end to the disqualification of mail-in ballots for inconsequential date errors.

The groups, which include the Black Political Empowerment Project, POWER Interfaith, Make the Road Pennsylvania, OnePA Activists United, New PA Project Education Fund, Casa San José, Pittsburgh United, League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania and Common Cause Pennsylvania, say the practice violates the fundamental right to vote in free and equal elections guaranteed by the Pennsylvania Constitution.

May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month and organizations from around the world are working together to not only raise awareness of perinatal mental health illnesses, but also to advocate for women and their families who are suffering and to remove stigma from discussions about mental health. Education about identifying maternal mental health disorders and treating them is paramount to reducing this pervasive societal problem.
